To show how to take it so
Just easy on a Sunday morning
And thru the rest of the day too-
With even a little bit o' help from his shadow!

Saturday Stare Done

ME and Brother Earl Gray prove a
Stare down CAN be had
Even when your peepers are shut
On Saturday and on pretty much every other day too!
My name Noir means "dark" in French and
Brother Earl Gray is called that cuz--well, he's gray!
Can you tell the difference?
I mean, outside of the fact Me and my Brother are
Two wild and handsome (Tommy'd  say 'crazy' too) man cats?
Enjoy your Saturday---
Cuz we sure will!
We're cats, so that's how we roll...*

So You See...

Brother Earl Gray tried to horn in on Uncle MaxMaxx's comfy spot on Monday. And then Uncle got sweet revenge on Brother yesterday. Wide Load and all.
 Which brings us to today.
Friday. Finally. The day alot of kitties' humans  smile alot more than they do all week
Humans should smile more anyway cuz they got US! .
Anyway, Brother Earl Gray found solice.
With Mommy.
Yet who lurks.......?

Tuxie Turn About

Back on Monday, I posted photos of my Brother Earl Gray hornin'
In on Uncle MaxMaxx's try of to get comfy cozy in a chair moment-
Needless to say Uncle did NOT feel it! So LOOKee what we have here:

Uncle MaxMaxx kinda fuzzy cuz he plopped up (or 'on'?) Brother and decided to bathe-
Brother gasped for air and uttered: "Wide Load!"
Uncle cared not as just kept on with his bath...
So, I guess Brother Earl Gray decided to render unconciousness or
Face fat fact, Uncle MaxMaxx ain't movin'!

Tuxie turn about is fair play, right? Maybe so....

No Go

Bummed. Yep. The Weather Humans said snow would be here
Upon on our wake up.
WRONG.
Tommy was all set to snap photos of our snow dusted yard-yet NO GO!
Maybe later on this morning, the Weather Humans say-
But Tommy will be at her daily ritual of abandonment of us by then...
Oh well.

I'll scrunch up to my bestest girl: MOMMY! OK, yea, Mommy was perched first. See, I decided her space was also MINE. Mommy doesn't look that happy-but I AM her baby, right..?
So in the meantime, as I wait for snow-I'll take in some blogs.... :)

ManCat Monday Squeeze

Gotta say Uncle MaxMaxx was really in the chair FIRST
And then Brother Earl Gray came callin'...
Uncle MaxMaxx ain't even feelin' the man cat bonding session...
Hence, the bit of fuzziness on Uncle's part...

So....

Uncle never budged and nodded back to sleep.
As Brother jumped down and meowed to Mommy.
I just washed my whiskers...

Time Changes Everything!

This time, last Thursday, a record snow fall took place here in Dallas--
Now, on this week, Tommy opened a window just a bit--
Before the sun when down Wednesday night--
And Uncle MaxMaxx and Mommy perched for a moment or six.

Not too sure what Uncle and Mommy see--
Maybe it IS Spring--cuz Tommy says Spring
Can't be that far away...maybe...until it maybe snows again....

Snow Go Saturday

The 12.5 inches of snow DFW melts as I type. Not as pretty as it once was. Kinda see the grass in spots now. Pigeons, wussies as they are, now got more ground to sit on instead of to hop on the snow--like they did yesterday. I see water drops drip from our roof--what a difference a day makes in Texas weather! No sign of the sun--yet.

Anyhoo, it is STILL Saturday. We glued ourselves to Tommy while she snored and cut off her circulation. Tommy growls alot when that happens, but she loves it. After all that, I know some are tired of snow-yet here in Dallas, this much has not happened EVER since records kept, so hang with me, just one more time! I wanna share more of Snow Storm 2010 before it's all a distance memory--(wow, that was so literary!)-which will probably be by tomorrow!

Oh wait--get this, Tommy got the idea to bring in snow, from Angel and Kirby's Mom, so we could check it out. Heck, she knew we weren't about to get our feeties all cold and wet! Tommy didn't have the flash on--so it isn't the best picture Mommy and Brother Earl Gray or ME--s'OK.

ME!!

Friday Keep Warm

Dallas-Ft Worth had a bunch of snow fall
Tommy says it was like that faraway land where she's from: IOWA!
Tommy says when the weather guy said 8.7 inches of snow fell so far-
Tommy didn't even wanna know what the final tally was--.
Why do humans get like that? Wanna hear stuff-then they don't?  Oh well.
Anyway-here's some trees in our backyard from yesterday morning-
Right before Tommy abandoned us and went to work....

Tommy wanted to take more last night, but the batteries were dead in the camera-

Why do humans get like that?  Wanna get stuff--then whine when they forget? Oh well.

And here's ME (naturally!!!) checking out a snow covered rose bush with a bird feeder hangin' from it. It got lotsa  visitors yesterday! So since it's Friday: Same Bird Time! Same Bird Channel...wanna join me?

***UPDATE***

**Weather guy said Final tally: 12.5 inches of snow fell. Tommy's work isn't called off, yet she's gonna take her time. DFW has NEVER seen this much...12.5!  And Tommy wanted to show you all what the SAME trees looked liked this morning after 12.5 inches QUIT  falling!  And then the other picture is....

Tabby Takes It On

Noir, the Notorious Tabby Tiger, (that's ME!) inspects his prey--
Tis why the photo of this warrior is a tad--well....fuzzy-
(Or Tommy just can't hold the camera still--you know how humans can be!)
The object of Notorious Tabby Tiger is a feline made of fabric--
A feline, bought by her Daddy when Tommy was a kitten of 8 years old Ya know, when dinosaurs roamed the Earth-.
If this feline of fabric could talk--the tales it weaves on Tommy...
This day tho, I nip its tail, for I AM, Noir the Notorious Tabby Tiger!
..and besides, the feline of fabric can't tell Mommy....

Who Dat Monday Man Cat?

First, I wanna say congrats to the New Orleans Saint and all their kitty, puppy and even human fans! The Saints pulled out a great Super Bowl victory over the Colts! Gotta be happy for em. I wasn't born yet when that big bad storm attacked New Orleans. I betcha this Lombardi Trophy will help everybody smile more!

Second, I'm BACK! Yep, ME: Noir!

OK, yea, yea sure you liked my Brother Earl Gray's Grasp of Reality--but it's NOIR's NOOK, not that silly not Earl, Not Gray, But Earl Gray business....Yea, OK--He might post again. Really kinda depends if Mommy pops me upside the head again..

Third--here are two man cats who usually are never this close to each other. Well, unless their food bowls are right by each other or they paw jab each other. Come to think of it-it IS when their food bowls are close, they paw jab.   Hmm. Maybe for the moment Perry and my Uncle MaxMaxx called a truce....maybe.

Easy Just Like Sunday

Hello Everybuddy! Earl Gray here! Gotta say, with it being Sunday (Super Bowl Sunday at that!) I still wasn't sure if Noir was mad at me for posting on his blog. Hence my pensive look:

Noir and me would still rassle, but then other times Noir wouldn't even look at me:

So I had to do what every feline, big and/or small, does to figure things out--
Take a nap.
I drifted off, but got woke up. Who curled by me?  Looked and smiled.
Back to my nap.
Tommy being the human, took the picture of:

Yep, Me and my Brother Noir--takin' it easy on Sunday--just as it should be. All is good. .

All tummy'd up and curled next to my gander out the window to
Watch everything on the Bird Channel cute and marvelous Mom!

Friday Face Off

Hello  Everybuddy! Earl Gray here again. Just wanted to show you guys what Noir looked liked after he said I could post on HIS blog again.

Not too happy, eh? Oh well.  Ya know my brother Noir goes into his own zone sometimes....well, ALOT of times. For one, Noir has this big thing that he's my big brother. Well--he is--kinda. By a couple hours--if that. You know the story,  Mom had 4 of us.  Three of us were born under Tommy's bed. Tommy put Mom and 3 babies in their own bed, in Tommy's litter box room and shut the door. Tommy woke up the next morning, and there were 4 babies instead of 3. I was number 4. So yea, Noir is older but not THAT older.

Noir is wierd when it comes to chow time. Tommy has a bowl for each of us. Noir never comes to his bowl until everybody has eaten. Noir sits and peaks around the corner.

And all of those little stuffed beanie animals Tommy has- During the night, Noir will tote them and drop em in Tommy's bed. So when Tommy wakes up--she surrounded  by more animals than just us. I don't get it really. Those beanie animals don't purr. I just like to glue me to Tommy's leg and fall asleep.

Oh, and we gotta fireplace that Tommy doesn't every really know if the chimney thingy is ever really open--Tommy guesses it must not be when all this smoke comes back in the house and the alarm goes off and we all run under the bed and Tommy has to open the windows and it's freezing outside...the point of this story is, when Tommy isn't trying to burn the house down, Noir likes to try to run up to and get on mantle of the fireplace.  The problem with that is--the fireplace is made out of stone.

My brother Noir is kinda in his own zone. Doesn't meow at you, but will stare you down. But ya know, all in all, Noir really isn't so bad.

Just don't tell him I said so.
