Me cat snoozin' and her sordid affair with Blue Bell Cookies n Cream ice cream 

Are going well.

--I digress--

This competiton Tommy enters and selected, her play

Will be read by professional actors.

Now, I've read Tommy's 'masterpiece' and ain't got any cat on any page...

So, really, how good can Tommy's play really be?

Hence, I give Tommy my 

"Open wide and ennunciate fantastic fang made holes in masterpiece pages' look.

OK. Usually I blame Tommy for not lettin' me post earlier in the day--

Hate to admit I AM the blame today. Yep. The cool 81 degrees yesterday

In Dallas thru me from the 107 a day or so before. 

 I 'spected another cool day and planned to hang in an open window

To survey my savannah and ponder on the conquer of new prey..

WRONG.

Got warm again today, no 107 - but no open window neither.

I was HISSED.

And then I grabbed Brother Earl Gray

so we could --uh--talk about the weather....

Tuckered Out Tuxie

Yesterday it topped 107 degrees F here in Dallas- 

Probably 20 something days straight of 100 heat-

After awhile, we're just glad Tommy pays the electric bill so the a/c stays on

And then find a comfy, cozy spot to just turn your back on the heat-

Just like my Bestest Girl does!

Man Cat Monday

For my 601st post, I showcase my Daddy Peyton in a WHOLE different light!

In past posts, Daddy Peyton is usually all laid back-

Usually curled up, usually sleep, but not THIS time!!

Tommy caught Daddy awake, and by the cardboard scratch thingy....

See the hole and all the scratches? 

 OK, Tommy don't  have good light, so hope you can see!

Daddy Peyton DID all of it. He's the only who even touches it.

Me, I just bite the plastic the cardboard sits in!

So I wanted to show another side of Daddy Peyton can be--

Even his ears look all different. Ferocious. 

Yep, that's where I get it from. 

600 on an Easy Sunday

That's what today's  post is: Number 600!

Not quite been ever day recently (cuz of Tommy's silliness)

Yet here most of the time and what better day to happen

Than on a Sunday-Thank YOU to everybody!

And this is my "What will I do for the next 600 posts?" pose-

Then I will nap.

Still is Sunday after all and

Takin' it easy is all that really matters! 

Saturday Sound Off

My Tommy is HISSED off this day!  OK, I was gonna post how wonderful it was to sleep in late. We spread new furs all over those now, not so fresh sheets and I got to nibble on Tommy's fingers and made her laugh. I like to hear Tommy laugh. I was gonna post how when Mommy eats from her bowl, she pulls food from her bowl and eats it instead of staying right IN the bowl and I was gonna post on this Saturday how Uncle MaxMaxx says he wants a treadmill to work out....

Nope, Tommy is HISSED.  After feeding us, Tommy goes out to the back yard to feed birds and fill their little bath. Tommy likes how the human mow the lawn guys did our lawn and took the busted peach tree branches away--which had rotten peaches --cuz critters bit into them. Well, Tommy took a real good look at the tree--and EVERY peach, rotten and what was good are GONE.  Even  ones from the tip top of the tree. Tommy is HISSED and trying to calm down before she calls the human mow the lawn guys.  This make Tommy get one of those lawn mower thingys....

So to help her calm down--I'm gonna go meow and rub against Tommy. 

And maybe nibble her fingers.

That will make Tommy laugh.

And I like to hear Tommy  laugh.

Makin' It

Tommy put fresh sheets on our bed---
"Fresh sheets" aka sheets without fabulous kitty fur"
Anyway, I helped in Tommy's quest to make it--....

Just stands by and don't wanna
Help as much as me-
Hmm.
At times, a bore instead my Brother be!
