Friday Night Face Off

Tommy comes home from work
Whines, gripes 'bout how Rough
Like a Proud Mary day it's been. And then got stuck 
In traffic on the way to her human vet. 
Me thinks Tommy needs a purr or twelve---
So, being the fantastic feline I certainly am
I go up to Tommy--the cleaner of my bid'ness box
I get close and then a whiff of  Tommy-
Reaches my nose: French fried onions rings
Tommy's day ain't that bad if she can smell like onion rings,

The snow started to melt-
Today the sun burst forth and 
Took care of all the snow 
Mommy took care in the sun--

As she waits for the Big Game to FINALLY start

And it's all still 'bout takin' it easy...

Show Me Saturday Snow

Mommy checks out the snow from the window-
And it's begins to melt! 

I know Mommy's pretty happy about that

Cuz her chomping grass was all covered yesterday! 

Now the kicker is, it's suppose to snow again on Sunday.

We'll just curl in that quilt when we get to it.

Fun For Friday!

Tommy tries to do that dance just about every human does on Friday. Tommy's scared she'll slip on ice that's UNDER the 4 inches of snow we got. So Tommy says she wants to show me something fun on this Friday.

My human goes thru YouTube and finds this:

Really? 

Anymew, back to impawtent stuff.  Tommy's workplace musta been scared to slip and slide on the ice and snow too, cuz they CLOSED for today! That ain't much happened since the Brady Bunch did disco, Tommy thinks. So we're all gonna take Brother Earl Gray's lead:

Back to the quilts and warmth of  bed.

We'll even let Tommy get back in it too,

Cuz it's too cold on the floor!

Still cold here in Dallas, like 18 degrees.
Ice still too. Tommy did head out to work yesterday
Yet came home early--see, I KNEW she wanted
To be US more and she's going today...why?

Then another news human lady talked to some

Humans from Green Bay. They said they'd been

Outdoors for an hour. They didn't have on coats

It was 19 degrees.

They said it was 24 below in Green Bay
I didn't know a bay could get so cold...
Anyway-Tommy wound up stayin' home
Eventho she got up to go.
One car has yet go down our street and it's
almost 12:15 as I type this with one claw..
