OK. Can you see?
Tommy had no flash and this
Was snapped at night, thru our backdoor window.
Tommy thought it was a gray yet not full grown kitty...
I thought it was big ol' mouse.
The neighbor chomped food Tommy set out
For neighborhood kittes and sipped water
The big mouse looked at Tommy and drank more water..
Tommy thought even tho it really wasn't a kitten
And the neighbor wasn't full grown, and kinda....
Dare I say....cute?
You did NOT hear that from ME!

Oh my. I don't think it's playing--I think it is!
We had one of those on our front porch when dad put birdie foods out there. He kept looking at us with those beady eyes of his. Mom told dad to stop putting birdie foods on the porch.
We had one in our back yard, too. He ended up not playing dead, too!
Tommy at first thought it was this little gray cat that comes to visit because the back was to her. Then she realized it was baby big mouse. The fact he was little--he really didn't pay Tommy any mind. He stayed for awhile because Tommy had to get the camera. I guarded the house from under the bed...One time we had the Mama--I'm guessing one time. She was big and actually rubbed up against the door trying to get in the trash we think. For being in the city, we get different wild life--like the day we had green parrots, and another day we had a hawk...
OMC! I'm an Okie kitteh, I knows what that is! It's an opossum. We are skeered of them. They haf lots of toofies, too!
Yep, before I even looked at the labels, I knew it was a possum - we get those visitors here too! I don't seem them too often, but they have passed through the neighborhood.
The cat before me killed a baby one once - that was a sad day for my human when she found it.

Good job guarding the bed! I do not think I would like to see a possum!
That is a cool picture, we do not have any possums where we live.

Possums are big 'ol mice. Since we're surrounded by dogs--I wonder how they get to our house...
