I waited til twilight tonight to post cuz I thought
The Texas Rangers would beat the Motor City Kitties
Today and earn their 2nd straight trip to the World Series....
Alas--was not to be--(Rangers will make em meow on Saturday!)
Anyway, I didn't want y'all to see my tear soaked whiskers so
Tommy caught Uncle MaxMaxx lookin out the window
Towards the direction of the Ballpark--until...

Can you see Ms. Tortie?
Uncle's tail got to flippin' and floppin'
Ms. Tortie just sat and watched Uncle.
Stayed there for a few minutes--
Tommy was kinda bummed cuz it was
Gettin' dark and afraid the photo wouldn't come out..
Anymew, Ms. Tortie made Uncle MaxMaxx
Feel better, cuz he forgot he was ever lookin'
Toward the Ballpark--he'll remember come Saturday....

And so attentive. Tommy got up to get a look see

This PrettyLadyCat was on our landing, I'm
Sure to chomp some food Tommy leaves out-

And then she turned and looked at Tommy and Uncle

--Uncle thinks she surely saw just him--
The NeighborLadyCat comes over to the window
Tommy tried to get the photo--hence, a little fuzzy
Uncle MaxMaxx thinks he got himself a girlcat...
Well, she ain't seen ME yet!!
