My purr-fect pal Millie presented me with the Oops I Ate It Award where a kitty or puppy chowed on something they shouldn't have. In Millie's house, the puppy Monty fessed up--twice!
The rules say "when accepting this award you must blog about the food you have stolen when your humans weren't watching. If you have never stolen any food, you must be a very good pup or kitty. You can accept this yummy tray of cookies as your reward!!! Next add the logo of this award to your blog (optional), then nominate at least 5 other furry blogs and let them know by leaving them a message on their blogs."
OK. In my house Perry is gonna be the one to confess. Mainly, cuz Tommy usta have better 'worth stealing food' before we all showed up. Says her health dictates it. Yea, sure. Stick with THAT story! Just don't think Tommy wants to share....
And the other thing, the nominate 5 other furry chums--gotta put a twist on that. 'cuz I've seen this dee-lish award on other kitty and puppy blogs and I'm scared I might repeat it over and over. So I'm nominating EVERYBODY for the award! If you are honest enough to confess the food you've swiped--then this award is YOURS! Let us know you've posted it--because confession is good for the soul! And now...
I, Perry am guilty of stealing food! The Kid (that's Noir to you) doesn't know what he's missing! Yes, indeed--such a better life before they showed up....oh well, I can still dream about those once upon a time times...Anyway I will share two most notable times.
First: Tommy usta DEE-vour these tortilla corn chips! The white corn kind. She'd snarf down those things with this red stuff called salsa. Didn't really feel that--but the CHIPS. Brenner
and Sammy--the two before cats who were with Tommy when I first came to Dallas showed me the ropes. At night, Tommy would put the closed up chip sack on the counter, right? Well, come morning time the sack would be on the floor, ripped open with crumbs abound! HAHAHA! Tommy got smart and would put the sack in the fridge or oven--away from us--drat! Even after Brenner and Sammy went to Heaven, and if by chance Tommy left the sack on the counter---meee-YOW! I knew Brenner and Sammy were just right there. Nowadays--not so many chips. Tommy will pop some corn, but it's not the same... :(
a really teeny tiny picture of Brenner and me--a couple days after we met. This was in Iowa. Tommy didn't do a hot shot job of scanning. She's found the original print and will try again.
Second: Ice cream. Especially if Tommy got distracted with something and set down a bowl that was just ripe for lickin', me and before kitty Sammy would do the pickin' with pleasure! Tommy still may do some ice cream these days--but she tries to not eat as much. Heck-what fun is THAT??
And let me say this, The Kid (that's Noir to you) just eyes me with his tail flippin' this way and that--like I'm gonna do something to his precious blog--Hey, I'm just makin' it better. Like my life WAS before they all showed up....*sigh*
The Kid will learn. Thanks for letting me confess. I feel better now. Where's the catnip?

Those chips look good!
Skeeter likes corn chips! Whereas King and I are ice cream JUNKIES! We will do this for our post tomorrow. Thanx for passing the awards along you guys!!!
I have never tried either of those things. I did try pepperoni once!
Do you feel better now that you have confessed? Thanks for introducing Brenner and Sammy! They looked like great friends!
We don't normally steal food around here...Wally has done it a few times...and he's gonna make his confession tomorrow....
We did our confession -- such as it was -- last week. We don't steal much, just not interested. Sounds like you had some good times 'back in the day', Mr. Perry! Too bad Tommy had to not only get smart with hiding things, but also start on the silly 'healthy' thing. *sheesh*
Purrs and hugs to you, sir,
The Kitty Krew
Hey, that was really a good story. We don't steal food either, there's plenty to go around and we all share, amazing!!! Thanks for visiting me earlier, just wanted to say hello from your new friends!

Those are real good tales! Thanks for sharing! Chips sound good! Maybe someday when mom isn't looking!!
Noir flipping his tail around would be an interesting sight! Sandusky flips his tail a lot!

I enjoy my taste of the human food too.
I hope Tommy decides to get some white corn tortilla chips after she reads these posts. It's been a WHILE! I mean, how much fun is there to eat spinach? It's green. That should say it all.
