Friday Keep Warm

Dallas-Ft Worth had a bunch of snow fall
Tommy says it was like that faraway land where she's from: IOWA!
Tommy says when the weather guy said 8.7 inches of snow fell so far-
Tommy didn't even wanna know what the final tally was--.
Why do humans get like that? Wanna hear stuff-then they don't?  Oh well.
Anyway-here's some trees in our backyard from yesterday morning-
Right before Tommy abandoned us and went to work....

Tommy wanted to take more last night, but the batteries were dead in the camera-

Why do humans get like that?  Wanna get stuff--then whine when they forget? Oh well.

And here's ME (naturally!!!) checking out a snow covered rose bush with a bird feeder hangin' from it. It got lotsa  visitors yesterday! So since it's Friday: Same Bird Time! Same Bird Channel...wanna join me?

***UPDATE***

**Weather guy said Final tally: 12.5 inches of snow fell. Tommy's work isn't called off, yet she's gonna take her time. DFW has NEVER seen this much...12.5!  And Tommy wanted to show you all what the SAME trees looked liked this morning after 12.5 inches QUIT  falling!  And then the other picture is....

We don't get to see many birdies here (the pigeons don't fly up so high that we get to see them) so we wanna come and visit you!! (and maybe cuddle a little with your mummy? And your Tommy?

Wow!! That sure looks cold! You get snow often?

Mom thinks I am lucky that I don't get to see snow! She doesn't like it much!

Hi Noir

Humans are rather fickle aren't they? Unlike us cats - we know what we want, how to get it and are just happy being loved, cuddled, fed and watered. But not taken to the vets! Even we draw a line to that part of living with humans.

:-)

You throw a very handsome silhouette, btw.

Take care
x

Happy Snowy Friday! Dallas has never seen anything like this!! So we're gonna snuggle with Tommy before she abandons us to head to work...

Oh my your snow is headed toward NC they say...however, it seems to be on a more southerly path. Raleigh might get 1 to 2" but southern parts of the county more. We'll see.
We were amazed to hear how much you all rec'd and surprised that Tommy had to work...I mean you all aren't used to snow and I bet you don't have lots of snow equipment in the city. Oh well stay warm and enjoy the birds.

Now that looks cold and frosty!

We heard on the weather channel that the last time there was more snow in the Dallas area was way way way back in the 1940's!

BTW our GrandDaddy is from a small town east of Dallas. WE love Texas! (Still have bean relatives out there too)

Happy Friday!

Wasn't it just beautiful this AM? We sure enjoyed it. Now it is melting and turning to mud. We sure don't understand why Mom doesn't like us to play in the mud she lets us play in the snow??

Noir, The Sensational Snow Cat here! Like my puppy chums, Gus, Callie and Louie said--all the pretty snow is turning to mud. We still have a ton in our back yard tho! This was the biggest snowfall EVER in DFW! And Tommy went to work--she says the streets were just kinda damp--but it was STILL a foot of snow--honestly, Tommy says if she hadn't taken 2 vacation days this week--SHE woulda stayed home with US!!
