Tommy Talks Today

Hello from the Faraway Land of Iowa! I drove almost 800 miles yesterday--yes, 800!  I do admit, this was the first Iowa trip in a few years I hadn't brought a feline friend with me and felt a little lonely. No meows or cats trying to climb on my shoulder or curled on the floor on the passenger side.
In days gone by, my Siamese Snow Shoe, named Sammy would look out the window and surprise folks with his mesmerizing blue eyes--while Siamese Mix Tabby Brenner would be in the back window. And when Perry was a baby, he curled on my shoulder and gave me ringworm...

So what will it be like with Noir and Company? We'll just have to see if  Uncle MaxMaxx takes over the McDonald's at the fuel/food stop in Belle Plaine, Kansas or if Noir will just stare at people getting gas--thinking he can use his Jedi Mind Trick of Earl Gray just flops in the back seat and snooze or sweet Mommy Girl aka Edie, rides shot gun with me--cuz us single girls have to stick together?

Stay tuned.

I asked Kringle if he wanted to blog. He just stared at me. A work in progress.....

Are you serious? That's a lot of miles in one day. We're exhausted just reading it.

Yes--and I realized I wasn't as young as I once was.Maybe Noir is right--I am old enough from when dinosaurs ruled the earth.. :) The speed limit was 70, which translated into 80-until construction in the last 200 miles. I was not amused....I did get a good night's sleep...so all is well!

Phew! I don't think I could sit that long...too antsy. And the cats? They would howl until their howlers gave out, I think. Tommy, you are a brave, brave soul to consider traveling with Cats.

I can see Uncle MaxMaxx taking over the world, Handsome Noir starting a Jedi mind cult, Brother Earl Gray snoozing, Perry looking cranky and sweet Mommy packing heat! No-one messes with her! LOL!!!

Safe travels ... We don't like cars or vets! But our cousin Belle does ... She drives with our Uncle to San Antonio all the time. Kitty roadies rock!

That's a long road trip! Are you playing any games, like license plate poker, along the way?
