Tommy is home.

Says it's Labor Day, a holiday for humans to put

Aside their labor for a day when they would really be laboring-

Hmm.

Consider I'm not sure what Tommy labors at-ME thinks

This ain't much of a daily stretch for her...

Anymew, I've seen how Tommy is gonna labor the day away-

So for once I am gonna follow her lead...

Humans like it when they think we REALLY pay attention....
