Man Cat Monday....Back.

ME.

Been kinda hard to get up gumption to post after Perry's passing.
First, the outpour of sympathy to my family humbles me
I want to THANK YOU All again. It means the world to us.
We're trying to grab a hold of our household without him--
Especially Tommy.
She expects Perry hollerin' while she feeds us and gets kinda weepy when  she can't
Fill that Number 6 bowl. Perry always got his bowl first, cuz I guess he holler'd he loudest.
She wonders why he wasn't on the blankee on the washer or on his couch in the other
Bedroom when Perry really wanted to get away from us.
Then Tommy remembers.
*Sigh*
It's been hard.  Real hard. We love on Tommy. And we know she loves us--
Yet there's some thing still feels missed.
Cranky Ol' Sour Puss Perry--that's what I called him--and he was just that--
Never really beat us up-hissed and air jabbed Uncle MaxMaxx--
Mommy says Perry did like us. Like those times we'd all be
On Tommy's bed snoozing, or a Saturday morning when Tommy didn't need to get up.
*Sigh*
Perry now rests under the pretty flower tree, right outside a window.
Bird TV is right there and we all watched from that window.
We'll still watch the birds and squirrels --
And maybe there will be a familiar cranky ol but now
Angelic orange tabby watchin right with us--
I pray this to be so.

Oh Handsome Noir!!! Me and Charlie are sending you and gorgeous Brother Earl Gray, Daddy Peyton and Sweet Mommy and Uncle MaxMaxx tons and tons of hugs and purrs and all the cuddles and love in the universe that we are able to. Your sweet Perry is definitely watching over you all now and will be forever with you hissing and wanting to nab that blankie and stay in the other room! He was truly a character!

Most of all we would like to give your lovely Tommy a great big hug <<<<<<>>>>>>>>> because it's very hard for her losing one as precious as Perry! Take care

Yes, it is so hard when a furry is missing from all the usual haunts and activities. They are really missed when they leave. Purrs and tail wags.

Those orange cats are pretty special and leave a big hole when they move on across the Bridge. I have no doubt that he's hanging out watching you guys.

It's hard to have a Special Boy move on, but that's ALL Perry did, just move a little ways beyond where you can't see him, Noir. Perry is still there, in all your (and our) hearts.
Peace and Love, MomKat Trish

Oh Noir, we know that you all miss cranky ol'Perry. But we hope all those good memories you have of him...even when he was hissing and swatting at Uncle MaxMaxx...helps you get through the sad time. And y'know, he's still around and will make his presence known when you least expect it and hopefully, when he does, you all will be able to smile...

Noir, WE know you all did love Perry. Take care of Tommy and give her extra cuddles when she gets weepy. It will take time.

It's perfectly natural and all right to feel sad that Perry is no longer sharing space with the other kitties. Time will take the edge off the grief, so just be easy and forgiving with yourself. The pain of Perry's loss can't go away overnight... and you already know that in some ways, you have not really lost him. Purrs.

Changes are always hard, and we are all sorry to hear about your sadness. But we do believe in kitty angels and we believe that Perry is watching over all of you and helping keep you safe. By keeping him near your heart, you have not lost anything...and he will always be with you.

I started crying just reading it! I wish I had some healing words to give you, but I don't. Just know that the RB isn't a one-sided place. They send down their love and they feel ours too.

We totally understand how you feel. Mom still can't believe Sniffie is gone and looks for her all the time. Mom says the worst time is when she wakes up and remembers that Sniffie is gone.

It is hearbreaking to lose one you love so much. You think you hear them or see them out of the corner of your eye, but maybe it is not imagined. They are there to watch over you. Think back on all your happy memories together and they will help you through the hardest times.
Hugs and purrs.

Tommy came home and wondered why Perry didn't come runnin'---she remembered. But Mommy has really taken on cheering on Tommy. She's being all girl talk since Tommy got home and is perched now on the desk as I type with on claw...Thanks again to everybody!! I wanna try to visit everybody who gave their kindness to us. Tommy just lifted an eyebrow when I typed that...you know how humans are...

We are sending purrs and head-bonks to Tommy, who we know is grieving. (and her Dallas Cowboys aren't helping her mood one bit!) xoxo

This ends up being how I get introduced to new blogs alot of the time. I only just found out that you lost your Perry, so I came to read about Perry and to tell you how very sorry I am. I just told my Sofie's story last week on my blog. She left me last year, and I still miss her so. It grabbed me when you said it's a little lonely around there. I felt the same way. Keeping you in my heart and in my thoughts.
