Snow, Ice and Us..

That's what we got.
Dallas-Ft Worth is a great big ol' ice rink
Daddy Peyton listens to the weather while he
Watches birds out the window...
Then another news human lady talked to some
Humans from Green Bay. They said they'd been
Outdoors for an hour. They didn't have on coats
It was 19 degrees.
They said it was 24 below in Green Bay
I didn't know a bay could get so cold...
Anyway-Tommy wound up stayin' home
Eventho she got up to go.
One car has yet go down our street and it's
almost 12:15 as I type this with one claw..
So here's a picture of me from just a little bit ago--
Watching birds--well, I was til they flew away...there could be a cardinal still...

We are watching the snow, too. We are so glad Mom and Dad are home with us!

We are so glad Tommy stayed home with you! The roads are very bad. Mom and Dad have no plans to leave the house, except to check the mail!

Our streets are nothing but ice. There's a store Tommy said she'd go to--says she needed salad. Yea. She slid just trying to get to our corner, and we're just the 2nd house from the corner. Tommy was not happy. I sure hope that salad was worth it...

EeeeeeeK! Mommy says she remembers that type of weather. Please stay inside where it's warm and safe.

Brrr! Just looking out the window over your shoulder makes me feel cold!

We are glad Tommy stayed home with you. We get ice more than snow and mum hates it when we get sheet ice. Everything here was covered in a 2-3 inch layer of ice for 10 days before Christmas and our lane was unusable for most vehicles for that time. The gritters and snow ploughs don't go down the smaller lanes.

The ice did not go all away. It's still below 20 degrees. Lots of school for humans are already closed for tomorrow...Tommy's hoping she'll be closed too.. :) Weather humans says Dallas has been this cold in 22 years ago...ya know, when dinosaurs roams the earth...
