As Tommy got home from gettin' her Hallelujah Amen on-
With a Mocho Coconut Frappucino in tow-
We got a whiff of her Frap it as she opened the door and
So we chose not to run to the door-
When Tommy walked thru the house, with her
Whipped cream covered beverage, she found Mommy:

As the temperature again reaches 100 in Dallas,
For the 28th (or is 29th?) straight day, Tommy thinks

Thinking about a day from this past  February

Friday Feline Friend or Foe...

Tommy snapped this photo thru the glass of the door and a screen.
This neighborhood friend or foe been comin' round for a couple weeks. Tomnny wanna believes he's got a  home. Ya know, how Tommy feeds the neighborhood and he shows  up one day. We see him more than we see the rest of our neighbors, including that Possum Rat. In fact yesterday (when Tommy took this photo), He was just sittin' on our patio. He didn't run like he's done before--but won't come up to Tommy...yet. He just watches her and probably thinks she's crazy when she talks to him. Anyway, he's (or she--Tommy hasn't gotten THAT close to see) safe in our yard. Nobuddy messes with him----except we do watch him thru the glass.Whether he's a friend or foe--I guess I do kinda hope he has a home too....why?  Cuz Tommy's got that look in her eye.....

The big mouse looked at Tommy and drank more water..
Tommy thought even tho it really wasn't a kitten
And the neighbor wasn't full grown, and kinda....

Anymew, today was last day Tommy gets to stay home with us..

I keep askin' Tommy what she remembers about CNN's coverage of  the signing of
The Declaration of Independence. Tommy keeps mumblin "Not that old! Not THAT old!"

Meanwhile, Daddy Peyton dreams something esle on this holiday cuz

We celebrated Perry's birthday on the 4th of July and tis our

So we gave her lotsa purrs and didn't bug her

Too much that the nip nana was too far under the couch

Anymew, it's Friday now. Tommy is off til Wednesday

And I got my eye on her and the long 4th of July weekend..
I like it like that.
