Can you see my prey?
A mourning dove dines at a bird feeder.
Ahh, this dove--the subject of my hunt
Is ever so lucky the window screen
Saves him so he can fly another day!
Noir...oh to be able to just get a taste of the delectable dove...I dream of it night and day. all that stops me is a double pain picture window but a girl can dream. Hugs Madi
Those mourning doves are easy to catch, too - my human saw the cat before me snag one right before her very eyes (she rescued it, of course, much to TCBM's consternation). So that mourning dove is very, very fortunate.

We have a silly mockingbird that plays on the porch when we have the windows open. That screen is very thin!
you might try the claws on the window screen, I bet you can get the next dove.
