Of Course

Our pigeon is outside. Tommy takes bird food (after she fed us, of course) and fresh water out to the birds. Every other bird flies away except the pigeon. It kinda lingers. Walks close to Tommy and then backs up. Tommy puts some food on the ground. And the pigeon knows where the gettin' is good--and kinda comes closer. Tommy sees his face and more of his colors. Yep, a pigeon-with black and white feathers and speckles. What's strange is--this the ONLY pigeon we've ever seen in our yard. Tommy and the pigeon look at each other. And of course, the pigeon is just inches away and Tommy does NOT have that stupid camera! The one time she does need it...and NO. Maybe tomorrow.

Yea. We just yawn or sneeze and Tommy's all up in our Fancy Feast. This is my "OK, I"ll look at you, but not being the all cute kitty look your want-you gotta work for it" pose.

Humans, of course, we gotta keep em.
* Sigh*

We hope you get the picture tomorrow! Be careful with pigeons, if you touch it, be sure to wash very thoroughly. They're sweet birds but can often carry disease

Sounds like the pigeon knows where to go to get a good meal!

Tommy is kinda ticked. Yesterday she put one of those birdfood bricks of sunflowers and other stuff birds like (yuck) in the feeder. Tommy says it cost her almost 5 bucks at Wal-mart. So? As long as we have food...anyway, those greedy birds, Tommy says, ate it all ready. Now Tommy says the birds needs a job more than we do. Good. Blame the feathers.

We would have loved to see the picture. Maybe you could tell your human to be more alert and vigilant?

Tommy--vigilany? Yea, if there was ice cream out in the back yard, she'd be pretty darn vigilant...
