Thursday Thankful

Tornados wrecked havoc in Dallas on Wednesday
One was about 10-15 miles from us. It picked up a big truck
And threw it in a building. Nobody got bad hurt.
At our house, a big ol ugly cloud hung over head-
Thought more rain comin', but just a little wind
Tornado musta touched down then.
Then just as soon as you could meow "Feed Me"
It was gone. Sun shone. Tommy opened a window
And went outside to catch Mommy and Me-
Pretty Picture Frame Posin'....
Everybody safe now in Dallas.  Calm after the storm.

I'm glad you guys escaped the bad part of the storm! Although it sounded a little close for comfort!

As I use my claw nail to write this--it's 5:41 AM and it's 80 degrees F here in Dallas. Rain seem to have gone for the most part. Lotsa rain yesterday, flooding, then tornados...too much weather for once day. More quiet today.

We think you were getting the remnants of Hermine in the big D yesterday. We thought of you when we saw that there were tornadoes there. Glad y'all are okay. xoxo

We worried about you yesterday! Our sirens went off but we got harder rain earlier in the day than when they said we were in a tornado warning. We lost a couple of dead branches but they needed to come down!

Goodness gracious! I'm so glad you are all okay. 10 miles away is still too close!

Yep--it was part of that Hurricane that decided to travel north from the Gulf of Mexico. We had a bunch of rain that morning. Tommy said her umbrella blew up when she walked to her work. I wonder if the >boom< was real loud when her umbrella blew up.....?

Thanks for all your well wishes!
