Monday Mooch Moment

Geez.
Mommy AND Tommy hissed at me---ME---because of Mooch.
Yea--her.
Why?  See, what happened was, Mooch's third "Gotcha Day aka The Day MY life was Ruined" was on Feb. 27. I secretly hoped everybody would forget. I mean, it's MOOCH--c'mon!
Turns out, both Mommy and Tommy said they'd hoped I'd gotten over my 'issues' with She-Bad Cat  and I would mention Mooch's coming inside on my blog....MY blog....hmm. I won't bore you with the scowls and not as many scritches that didn't happen, and get on with the Mooch moment. *sigh*

I went back and looked what I typed a year ago, about Her Royal BadCat  Mooch's Gotcha Day. My whiskers tickled, because it seems like not a whole lot has changed in a year (I wonder if Dr. Phil is available?)  So instead of me writing a whole bunch of how Mooch loves all over Tommy, hisses at me, cuddles to Daddy Peyton and TALKS beyond compare--I put the link to last year's post.

And next year--it's just gotta get better with Mooch--and maybe I'll stop chasin' her to show who's boss...oops, did I say that?

GOTCHA DAY on Torbie Thursday

Mooch. Yea. Mooch. HER.
 Two years. Count em. Two.
Seems more like 200...
Since that fateful night Ms. SheStillBad got trapped within about one second and Tommy had to...just HAD to, bring her in! Mommy checked our newest roommate just minutes after Tommy just HAD to bring Mooch in....
Really?
After all this time, I still am kinda out in the litter box on Tommy's decision.

Sure, OK, Mooch was kinda itty bitty to be out on her own--but, but..she was out in the shed, mooching off us for 8 whole months, which was more like  eleventy gazillion. Heck, Mooch lived somewhere before she picked  our backyard. Why couldn't she just go BACK--even after Tommy made sure Mooch got her ladycat surgery? Tommy says Mooch needed to have this surgery even if she stayed in with us or not.

And Tommy even gets real honest and says, she knew Mooch really did have a home, maybe in the next block. Tommy would see Mooch run across the street after she ate on our patio. So Tommy decided once Mooch got all healed from her surgery--if Mooch acted like she wanted to go outside--like get by the door, meow. .you know what we kitties do, Tommy would let Mooch out.

Never happened because Mooch never did it.

The only thing Mooch did for awhile, was look out a window-towards the way she would run across the street.
Tommy always wondered if she was doing the right thing--keeping Mooch inside and all. I tried to ask Mooch, but hissin'  is what I'd get for an answer
Told ya, She-bad!

Anymew, fast forward to Gotcha Day 2014. Mooch doesn't look out  across the street anymore. When Tommy and Mooch spend time together, the newest cat on the block is all speedboat motor purr.
When it comes to us, "toleration"  the word. Mooch, still doesn't really cuddle with anybody 'cept for Daddy Peyton and Tommy....but I think Mooch really wants to. Even after she does a hiss or two--and  that's not so much anymore either.
So as much as I hate to admit
I guess Ms. Call Me Ms. Mooch is
here to stay.
*sigh*
Happy 2nd Gotcha Day Anniversary, Mooch!

GOTCHA 1st Anniversary on Wordless Wednesday!

One year ago today, February 27,  2012 this happened:
Yep. Mooch.
Took Tommy all of a blink of an eye to catch the cat
That mooched off us for 8 months in our shed....
And our cluttered and cat filed chateau ain't been the same!
Fast forward to 2013 and we got:
Yep. Mooch gets an anniversary love pet from Tommy
OK. Sure. Her Royal She-Devil does look lots
Better than that year ago photo--*sigh*
And then we have this:
Yea. Mooch--again--On a greeting card no less!
See, Tommy finally opened a shop on Etsy!
After I kept meowing at Tommy that she could not
Forever be a poster child for procrastination
And that even Hallmark had to start somewhere--
(I dunno where, but somewhere) So Tommy ate a
Bunch of  ice cream--says it helped her brain cells--
And so on Mooch's 1st Anniversary, who is
Now inside safe, sound and is now a
Greeting card which can be stuffed in an envelope,
Stamped and mailed to a galaxy far far away....
The card is the ONLY way I can believe
Mooch has left the building. cuz I'm certain
Tenacious Torbie plans to go nowhere!
Oh, and the name of Tommy's shop on Etsy?
Need you ask?  :)  Click here to go take a looksee!
(Once in awhile the human DOES get it right!)

Friday Feline

My Uncle MaxMaxx
Curls in this bed and tries to be all kitten-y.
Hmm. Don't work too good, huh?
Anymew, Tommy says Uncle still acts like
The butterballsy kitten he was back in the
Olden days of '06 when Uncle first spotted
Tommy outside, came up and leaned
Against Tommy's legs and did figure 8's between em.
Mommy and Daddy Peyton just watched from afar
Tommy says if Uncle hadn't
Done all o' that (and kept doing it)
None us might not be here today!
And Tommy says she's gotta figure out when
Uncle, Mommy and Daddy Peyton's Gotcha day is--
Cuz it was in November '06 sometime...stay tuned!
