Seems I'm to tell 7 things about me-so I typed:

Tommy glanced over my list and muttered something about being "shallow."

Hmm.

I thought I exercised confidence.

Anyway, Tommy sighed, shook her head and demanded I say something a bit more 'deep.'

Whatever.

OK. So to make Tommy happy, because she does feed me, here are some 'deep' things:

Licks peanut butter from 100% wheat bread

Rubs your legs, but doesn't like to be held

Sits and watches others eat from their bowl before I go to mine

Leaves my toy, pieces of paper and/or Beanie Babies in Tommy's bed as a gift

Gets nosey when Tommy opens the dryer door

Licked watermelon once and Tommy snatched it away-selfish!

And the other 7 things I listed above! :)

Now, I've 'told all' I'm suppose to send this off to 7 others.

And I know alot of others have this sweet award already.

So I award this to EVERYBODY!

ManCat Monday

What a way to start off a Monday!
Two of my favorite fantastic Mancats-
My Daddy Peyton and Uncle MaxMaxx!
See, the kicker is--
They pose in Tommy's litter box window--
The SMALLEST window in the house!
So HOW did they do it?
Uncle has lost some of his big boned-ness
But not THAT much!
Oh well. Doesn't matter!
They both made it
And they look pretty marvelous
Just like the ManCats they always are,
Especially on a Monday!

Do I Gotta?

I want to nap.
Still celebrating my 2nd birthday.
Mommy says I can't.
Why?
Not until we curl with Tommy. Seems Tommy is tired.
She volunteered for some group of writers conference thing
And was up until midnight last night to ready for it-
I don't get Tommy and writing-what in the world does she write???
Anyhoo, Tommy had to be there about 5AM today to finish
Getting ready then volunteer the rest of the day.
Tommy fed us before she left so--well, whatever -
Wanna catch some zzzzz's since the a/c puts me to sleep
Just thinking about this almost 100 degree day makes me tired!
Mommy says -NO-We take care of Tommy.
Oh- all right.
Find some Andy Griffith on the TV and maybe
I'll find room for Tommy under the ceiling fan!

As long as Perry just leaves me alone

So I can get a cat nap in-then we'll just get along fine.

Especially since my handsome-ness would

Surely break the lens!

Spots

What I like about a Saturday is we all have our spots.

The BEST spot is Tommy. See, Tommy stays in bed longer on this day. So we curl up to her all nice and close. Cuts off her circulation Tommy says.

But Tommy pets us and tickles our chins anyway. So must not be too bad.

Then we head to our other spots. Uncle MaxMaxx seizes the book shelf, since he got all literary. Perry poses on the piano. Daddy Peyton delights in a kitchen window, while Mommy is mesmerized from a bedroom window. As for Brother Gray, he finds solace on Tommy's desk. I'm surprised he finds room. But Brother Earl Gray does and with chums yet.

I love Saturdays.
