Wowsa Wow: June 12th is OUR BIRTHDAY!!!

Hello everybody!!
Can you believe that these two
itty bitty baby boy kitties:
Are 10 years old today??
Yep-- ME and my Brother Earl Gray!! Tommy says she can't
believe it neither.  Says she it seems like yesterday
Me and Brother both fit in the palm of her hand and had yet to grow
into our ears!  Our human says she loved
us from the very start, even tho
Tommy did try to find me another furr-ever home.
Not til her co-worker dilly dallied to make up her mind
as we all sat outside at Starbucks (I didn't get anything)
and I looked into Tommy's eyes, Tommy says she knew
we were furr-ever and never looked back!
So ten whole years later, we still are going strong--
And Tommy still says we are her babies.
And I like it like that!

Brother Earl Gray, our sweet Mommy and ME!
Together then, now and furr-ever!

PS. I can't believe it's been a year since I was on my OWN blog.
I told Tommy I wanna to start bloggin' again. The human admits she's missed MY blog too.
So we are gonna try to do a good move and
get back into some kind of bloggin' groove! Stay tuned!

Torbie Time

Ya know, I really can't believe how much
Ms. GottaBeMean  Mooch has got grown.
She perches in the clothes basket to
butter up Tommy with purrs and gives kisses.
.....and it always works.
Unfortunately.

Anniversary on Wordless Wednesday

On August 13, 2013
Uncle MaxMaxx had that P.U. surgery to keep
him away from those ucky, not nice urinary blocks.
Yep. Tis been a whole year. Here's a link to
go back to that infamous day. Eventho we all
knew the surgery was good for Uncle--there
were still scary thoughts. And I remember lotsa
prayers were purred and said which brings us
to Uncle MaxMaxx today:

Proving how purrs and prayers helped
my Uncle who's pretty wordless as he gots
eyes on a slitherin' paper snake
that Tommy is really brave to hold...
And yes, on this Wednesday my
"Big boned" Uncle did snag the snake
and of course Tommy wasn't quick
'nuf to snap that!  No matter, cause
all good at our house--and
that DOES matter. :)

Torbie on Tuesday

Check her out, will you.
Mooch.
This fanatic feline has come
SO far in these last few weeks.
Hangs with us, purrs like a motorboat
for Tommy--still has her 'meow'
but now, when Tommy calls her name,
Mooch comes runnin' (mostly):
Mooch and Tommy
discuss the pros and cons
for The Love Boat....

Torbie Thursday

....and not quite THAT thankful
even if it
IS Mooch:
OKOKOK
So Ms. SheSoBad does make
Tommy smile, 'specially when
Tommy gives her tummy tickles
And Mooch just curls and stretches
and purrs...and...oh well,
it is was it is!  *sigh*

Sad Saturday

Our eyes are leaky and whiskers droop
On this day because one of our bestest good furr-iends
ran off to the Rainbow Bridge:
We all hoped this handsome dude would fell all better.
While his paws walked this Earth,
Yet know we know he's feeling the best he has in a while
Eventho our hearts are broken.
So many prayers, purrs, hugs and lotsa love
For Prancer Pie and his family--our chums 'up the highway'

On Sunday

You see how Ms. McEvilMooch
Gets
Her easy on:
Yea, by doing some loud ol' purrs
That result in Tommy's famous
Chin rubs and tummy tickles....
....and Mooch BEAT me to it!! UGH.

Sunday Snow

See what Mooch does???
Ms. High 'n Mighty so snows Tommy
By tryin' to be all cutesy wootsy
For some scritches while purring
Like a motorboat all at the same time!
Hmm. I guess this is how Mooch gets
Her easy on...Hate to say it tho, Not bad...not bad at all!

Sunday Best

Uncle MaxMaxx IS home!  Yep.  We had a calm Saturday night 'cept Mommy musta been hissed off on how Uncle smelled because Mommy flashed him some fang.
Mostly, Uncle stayed close to Tommy tho. Headbonks, purrs, meows and Tommy smiled the whole time.  Even last night, I'm usually the one that always sleeps with Tommy--but oh NO--Uncle stretched his wide load self across the foot of the bed...for once I didn't mind a bit (at least for ONE night!)
Today, Uncle seems even more like himself.
At breakfast Uncle parked by his food dish and gobbled up lots. When it came for that morning nap, Uncle remembered the day still is Sunday:
So up into the favorite chair to get his easy on,
and I was makin' sure Uncle was doin' fine
and then
Tommy gave Uncle MaxMaxx her touch
and said a prayer of thankfulness.
Sunday Best, indeed.

Tuxie at Twilight

Uncle MaxMaxx is probably in this pose In the hospital this Tuesday Twilight.
Yep. Hospital. Tommy thought Uncle Had some bad constipation, because the usual remedy didn't seem to be workin' like it should. Longer story short, the nice V-e-t said we were all lucky because Uncle's bladder was so big, itcould have burst. Tommy knew the last couple days Uncle wasn't as Frisky, yet not weak, or sickly, yet something was different. Tommy didn't think it was THIS bad. And tried to think we she did see a difference. The nice V-e-t assured Tommy she did the right thing to bring Uncle in.  Seems Uncle MaxMaxx had a partial block, which the Nice V-e-t took care of in no-time. They are keeping Uncle a few days, for liquids, medicines and making sure he's fine to come home. Uncle MaxMaxx seems to be OK everywhere else, yet he's having blood work  to be sure. The nice V-e-t felt good that Uncle also had urinated on the floor prior to this, and was fussy. Oh, and they said "handsome" too.

Tommy knew Uncle was feeling some better cuz  when they at first waited in the room for the nice V-e-t, Uncle rubbed against Tommy's legs and glued himself to her--until the nice V-e-t came in and then Uncle squished into a corner--all 16.9 pounds of him!

Anymew, the nice V-e-t (and their only patients are kitties) agreed with Tommy that God had watched over them. And after Tommy petted and said goodbye to a still konked out sedated Uncle and said a prayer for God to keep watching out for her little kitty, the nice V-e-t hugged Tommy.

Even tho we have a  a bunch of kitties in our cluttered house, our home is gonna seem a little quiet for a few days.

Ginger Tabby Snooze Saturday

Well, I gonna admit I  had to provide some
Mancat size purrs for  Tommy cuz the
Texas Rangers did not win the World Series.
I really hope the human players have kitties at home to
Purr for all of them--especially pitcher Nefty Felix
Just one strike Nefty had to get then the humans here in
Dallas-Ft Worth would have a Champeens parade....*sigh*
After all this: my Daddy Peyton:
Says the Texas Rangers still had a good year
And just 119 days til Spring Training, so
Rest up. We'll do it all again soon...
Smart cat, Daddy is!

Study Sunday

ME!
By rubbin' my chin-
Tommy gets some good luck
To help with her school work today
Tommy works hard for her "A"
I work hard for my "A" in Easy--
After all it is Sunday
Seems fair.

Not Tonight Tuesday

I didn't want to think I forgot everybody.
Nope. Waited for Tommy to come home so we could
Do a photo op outside at twilight--
I was rarin' to go.  Tommy gets home late
Like after the sun goes down and darkness swept the Earth
Plus Tommy sniffed of Wendy's Single Hamburger with Cheese
Not amused was I.
So no photo opt and and no purrs
Nope.
Instead I will show you a backyard picture
Tommy snapped a few days ago
Peach tree blossoms.
That'll teach her, ol' hamburger breath!

Sunday Advice Taken Told by Tommy

Hello everyone! It's about 10:30PM Dallas time Sunday night as I write this. Just wanted to give you an update from my cat filled and cluttered house, especially about Perry.
My "One" (his nickname since he was a baby) seems to be doing OK. I give him the antibiotics without too much trouble with the syringe. He has started to run from me tho. I've been reading up on UTI's and says a kitty hold it all in because the potty box isn't to his liking. So I've been clearning that, plus reading food cans and bags.

I figure things must be a bit better, Noir popped Perry on the head and Perry hissed. I've been giving extra special love to Perry. Makes me smile when Perry brushes his nose against my cheek. He's been doing that since the first day he decided to stay with me. I knew then, like I know now, I'm the lucky one.

So on this Sunday I took my own kitty's advice and stayed away from the PC until now. As I type this Perry is right by the monitor with his eyes shut. I've given him his nightly medicine and tried to get away! Yet, here he is. I"ll say good night for now and Thank YOU again everyone for your well wishes.
Tommy
xxx ooo
PS. For ManCat Monday Noir tells me he wants to be back. He's afraid everybody  will forget him--ahh Noir--I guess I need to do some extra lovin' on him too. The cat likes it like that.

Saturday for Studying....

Twas Daddy Peyton's shift to keep Tommy company
While she hogged the PC to toil on some 1500 word
Paper she's been whining about-
If it ain't bout cats, who really cares....?*yawn*

Anymew, since Tommy toils so by ticklin' Daddy Peyton's chin
I gotta wonder, just HOW much paper writin'
Did Tommy really get done???
So when her chorus of B flat whines begin--,
Friskies Party Mix for everybody...
Enjoy Saturday!

Wordless Wednesday

Two Tuxies:
Uncle MaxMaxx and my sweet Mommy...
Open window and perched positive
With just a screen to prevent their get-a-away...

Time Changes Everything!

This time, last Thursday, a record snow fall took place here in Dallas--
Now, on this week, Tommy opened a window just a bit--
Before the sun when down Wednesday night--
And Uncle MaxMaxx and Mommy perched for a moment or six.

Not too sure what Uncle and Mommy see--
Maybe it IS Spring--cuz Tommy says Spring
Can't be that far away...maybe...until it maybe snows again....
