Rain from the last coupla Dallas nights.
It's not so hot like the days have been--
So a little fresh air does a ginger tabby good!

Tommy gets home from work--

And of course, nobody greats her, so as 

Tommy settles down in front of the PC to

Do some school work before the 

American Idol Results Show-

Mooch is on the desk and does this:

(That new kitty on our block has Tommy right where she wants her!)

Tommy gets home and
Darkness hadn't all the way fallen yet--
So she skips thru the house --kinda-
Looking for us---
(We don't greet, remember?)
And Tommy comes across:

Daddy Peyton.

Once Tommy blubbers "Oh, my Sweet Boy!"

Daddy Peyton revs up his motorboat size purr 

While remains in said pose and  

Tommy blubbers all the more 

At twilight....

We're cats. We got the power. .

Twilight....Still?

Are there any other cats who are
Cute (always!) and confused by this
Whole darkness still falls kinda by noon?
Well, not really--but aren't the days were suppose
To be gettin' longer now-since Dec 21?
Tommy says the days ARE getting longer--
I don't believe her.
So until darkness quits fallin' before 6pm

Right before darkness fell real hard...
Tommy got home and we didn't greet her-
So Tommy considered cleaning our bid'ness boxes
Then looked outside: Friend or For was parked in front of the shed door
Figuring F or F's belly was emptym cuz the food dish empty too
Tommy goes outside. F or F gallops across the back yard to Tommy-

Or to the empty dish, which Tommy filled. 

F or F sniffs Tommy's fingers and lets her pet--sometimes.

That's kinda all. Tommy tried to pick him up again the other day--

F or F ain't feelin' that yet--still.

This pose is flashless, cuz Tommy had almost dead bat-trees
In her camera.

Tommy gets home from her Mon-Fri abandonment of us
And says she'll gonna be pro-active.
Why do humans say such a thing when they know better?

That's my Mommy!
Yep. Tommy comes homes and grumbles how
No cat of hers meets her at the door and how 
The darkness of light fell by 5:43 Central Time-
She treks thru the gazimillion dust bunnies who live here
And tries to find us. Then Tommy spots Mommy:

With a little lizard that did not quite move fast enough.......

See, when Tommy got home tonight

She got hissed cuz all of us either 

Yawned or just kept our eyes closed.

Hey-if Tommy stayed home, wouldn't be such a situation!  

So outside she goes. Spots Friend or Foe

And Tommy shouts "Take THAT!"

Thursday Tabby Twilight

Can you see?

Not one of us. Nope.

It's Friend or Foe. Yep.

Tommy sat outside hoping F or F

Would wanna come inside and watch the

2nd game of the World Series tonight with us.

Naw. Friend or Foe decided to get in the

Wisteria forest and kinda disappear instead....

Tuxie Calm at Twilight

Tommy came home HISSED!  Yep.
She was suppose to have her class tonight and
Tommy showed up and NOBODY else did!
Turns out cuz the class had a test online this week, they'd
Voted last week to not have class. Well, Tommy wasn't
There last week. She'd been in contact with the teacher too
And he musta forgot to tell Tommy--sooo...This was
after the Dallas stop and go and detour traffic...
Went thru to get there. Not happy.
So Tommy makes it home and spots Mommy:

Mommy, being a girl, understood Tommy's plight

So, Mommy told Tommy to take a load off

And come sit a spell cuz it'll all be better

Mommy is always right.

Tommy gets home on this 100 degree day
We again don't run and greet her, cuz, well--
The a/c feels too good-
However it's not that cool in here that we miss
Tommy whiffs of  a Starbucks Mocha Frappucino
Ahh, we let her keep her whipped cream--this time...
Anymew, Brother Earl does decide to check out:

As he curls for another nap by the PC

It's his shift to keep Tommy company doin' her school work....

The NeighborLadyCat comes over to the window
Tommy tried to get the photo--hence, a little fuzzy
Uncle MaxMaxx thinks he got himself a girlcat...

Brother Earl Gray then flashes Tommy his:

"Heard this same song, second verse stuff before" look

Tommy just slobbers:
