Easy On Super Bowl Sunday

Yesterday Mommy looked out as 
The snow started to melt-
Today the sun burst forth and 
Took care of all the snow 
Mommy took care in the sun--

As she waits for the Big Game to FINALLY start

After all it is Sunday

And it's all still 'bout takin' it easy...

Mommy knows best!

Man Cat Monday With Mommy

Mommy says even tho she knows
I'm a 3 1/2 year old big, grown Man Cat
She still sees me as her itty bitty kitty...

And thinks I still need some lookin' after!
And my Mommy is always right....

Guess what I did???
I went outside!!  I know I usually guard the house from the inside..
But this was different. 
Mommy wanted to go outside to chomp grass
Usually it would be Mommy, Uncle and Perry who like to do that
This time tho, it was just Mommy
And I didn't want her and Tommy to not be protected---so
Tommy opened the door and out I went!!

I just chomped some grass with Mommy

And then I found a real treat!

Tommy didn't see what it was until I picked it up and headed to the door.

Tommy stopped me--and I dropped my treasure.

A dried leaf.

Tommy laughed and opened the door.

I took my treat and in I went.

I liked protecting the women.

Tommy says I'm really growing up

Says I really am Perry's heir apparent....

Birthday....OURS!

Yep, indeedy! ME and my Brother Earl Gray are 3 years old today!
Read what our sweet Mommy wrote about US last year!!

I feel so grown and BIG man cat-ish now.

Then Uncle MaxMaxx bops me on the head and says "Not so fast!"

Anymew, our 'neighbors' The Kitty Krew gave ME this award.

And I gotta say 9 things about ME

OK, so, I thought  it would GREAT to say stuff about ME-
Alas Tommy has other ideas. So now Tommy's turn to talk:

1.When first born, Noir seemed to be the hungriest and found his Mom’s milk—FAST!

2. Earl Gray was the last born. I said a prayer over Edie and 3 babies about 10pm. The next morning there were 4.

3. Noir was first to crawl out of their box. Crawl up my leg. Crawl up and down the stairs in our apartment.

4. Earl Gray would sleep by himself—just like he does now. Sleeps like a brick, just like his Dad.

5. Earl Gray was first to meow at me—as his baby claws buried deep in my leg.

6. Noir never meowed, until literally a couple weeks ago. I thought it was Earl Gray, until I looked down Very sweet. I asked why he waited so long. Noir says, “Just to catch you off guard..”

7. Today, Earl Gray just plops on the floor with belly up for his tummy tickle. Always has. When he was little, I was afraid I’d step on him.
8. And Noir, really is Perry’s heir apparent. As Noir’s aged, he stakes claim to me more, just like Perry does and more affectionate—like Perry. Granted, Perry’s not thrilled, yet I like two man cats to fight over me. One glues himself to my left side while the other glues to my right, and circulation is cut off not matter which.
9. Noir and Earl Gray are my baby boys. I'd never had newborn kittens and these these three years have been a joy along, with fur sheds, Of course, Noir reminds me when he was 12 weeks old, how I sat for 2 hours, outside at a Starbucks, trying to talk a co-worker into taking him. The co-worker wanted a girl. Then after that, I had to go to Petsmart, and I wasn’t leaving Noir in a hot car. So around the store I walked with this notorious Tiny Texas Tabby Tiger, shivering, in my hands. People ooh’d and ahh’d. At one point, this little kitty looked up at me. I knew he wasn’t going anywhere….

Thankful

Two Tuxies Treasure Huntin'. Tommy snapped this photo last night, when she let Uncle MaxMaxx and Mommy go out to chomp grass. Tommy has junk on our patio just like she has in our house....humans...so the Dee-lightful duo checked the junk out. I like seeing my Uncle and Mommy hanging together--Tommy says they've always been like that.

And I hope they always will be!

I am thankful.
