May Day Saturday Set

Tommy's tellin me how when she was a kitten little treats

In these little baskets she'd make with her Mommy-

Were taken to school for classmates and even other humans

That were at home. She'd leave em on door steps and such.

I really like the TREAT part--so where's MINE?

Anymew, Brother Earl Gray, Mommy and Uncle MaxMaxx

Being so set in their Saturday routine
Oblivious (I googled that word) of treats we should get for May Day!

When they wake up we'll stage a revolt until we get our OWN May Day baskets.......

Back on Monday, I posted photos of my Brother Earl Gray hornin' 
In on Uncle MaxMaxx's try of to get comfy cozy in a chair moment-
Needless to say Uncle did NOT feel it! So LOOKee what we have here:

Uncle MaxMaxx kinda fuzzy cuz he plopped up (or 'on'?) Brother and decided to bathe-

Brother gasped for air and uttered: "Wide Load!"

Uncle cared not as just kept on with his bath...

So, I guess Brother Earl Gray decided to render unconciousness or

Face fat fact, Uncle MaxMaxx ain't movin'!

Tuxie turn about is fair play, right? Maybe so....

Don't Get Any Better

Gorgeous Dallas Day. 70 degrees. Windows open and Tommy's home!
Took a 'floating holiday' today. Dunno what it is, yet it's all good! 
Even tho Tommy says something is 'in the air' and makes her sneeze--
No matter, Tommy still smiles and we got to sleep in good and long!
Nice, nice, and more nice and for their part- 
Uncle MaxMaxx and Brother Earl Gray perch in an open window
And take in an early feel of Spring! erched in one of the open windows!

Yep, don't get any better than this!!

Easy Just Like Sunday

That's the back of MY head

As I watch my Uncle MaxMaxx

Indulge in his own special way

On how he takes it so easy

On Sundays...

Like when Uncle doesn't jump just right to make the window

Or when the walls shake as Uncle rumbles through the house

Or when Uncle rubs against Tommy's legs and slides to the floor--head first

And then there's that whole belly thing going on...

And the Human gets it right---for once! .

Uncle MaxMaxx just has this kinda

Air about him-All ManCat and so 'big boned'

Yet just has something about him

Tommy says (and Uncle concurs)

How he took to Tommy first

As a itty bitty kitty he loved

On Tommy while Daddy Peyton and Mommy watched

He meowed and wanted Tommy to hold him

Uncle still does that but

Now Tommy needs a forklift to lift Uncle

But never complains

Just smiles and says there's just something

about my Uncle MaxMaxx

Yes, there is!

Feline Friday Box Step

As Tommy took pause from that dance she does every Friday,

She announced it's International Box Day-

So we must pose with a box.

OK, look--I do not perform on demand.

Somehow Uncle fit on Tommy's desk

Will all the stuff ON Tommy's desk-I'm amazed

But Uncle couldn't just sit on the desk-

Uncle MaxMaxx had to do what comes naturally:

Put something in his mouth!

Don't think this tasted as yummy as goodies in his bowl

Maybe Uncle MaxMaxx tries to tell

Tommy she oughta get a newer phone-

Ya know, one that ushers Tommy into the 21st Century

A phone where Tommy can put pictures of ME on it!

Hey, since she's got the day off

What more is Tommy gonna do?

Heavens knows house cleanin' ain't happening

How can it be when Tommy flops on the couch, a bowl of cereal in hand-

Clicks on the TV and turns to Regis and Kelly?

I woulda at least picked something on HGTV!

Plus, our house doesn't shake as much

when Uncle MaxMaxx jumps

down from a window.

ManCat Monday Max

I see some other cats have ManCat Monday so instead of ME, I thought I would show off one of my favorite ManCats: my Uncle MaxMaxx. I say he's fat. He says he's just big boned. Uncle MaxMaxx likes to climb around Tommy's back when she sits at the PC. She laughs and says "Oh, Big Boy!" Uncle MaxMaxx meows then. Against Tommy's legs, MaxMaxx puts ALL his 'big boned weight there and she nearly falls over. A forklift, Tommy says, is needed to pick him up. When Uncle MaxMaxx is stretched on the bed, belly up and snores galore, Tommy says she says he's so cute and how much she loves my Uncle.

Hmm. I bet not as much as ME!
