Me on Thursday

Humans so TRY to engage us in
THEIR need for a photo op....
After all, we really can't help it we're so irresistible! .
So Tommy did her best Coax the Kitty Noir
To get my attention for said photo op...
I naturally refused and gave Tommy my:
"That cobweb in the corner is as big as Texas" look:

Tommy wasn't happy
I naturally chuckled.
I'm a cat. That's how I roll.

Star Saturday

As ME and Uncle MaxMaxx chowed breakfast this morn-
I told Uncle how my 1st Bloggerversary
Is just minutes, moments and days away!
Uncle MaxMaxx stopped in mid chomp. Looked at me.
Swallowed. Licked crumbs from his chops.
Looked at me more. Blinked and then
Burped.
Ahh. No matter the time or day of his any reaction-
Uncle MaxMaxx is still a grand (aka big boned) star in my sky!

Tuxedo Tabby Thinks...

Brother Earl and Mommy--
Lookee here! Those two are now in Tommy's PC chair
And instead of giving Tommy a notorious gaze as
They jump out of the chair-Brother and Mommy just stay there!
How come when THEY do something, Tommy oogles and coos--
But when I do something I get fussed at???

Conspiracy?
Hmm.

Mad Monday ManCat...ME!

Tommy again with that that camera
uh....NO!
She didn't have the picture ready
When I looked up for a moment...
And wouldn't ya know,
Tommy missed the moment.
:)
So I continue to take a 'smile for the camera' sabbatical
As I look at my toy and sit
On a newspaper Tommy should have put for recycle.
That will show her.
Mad Monday ManCat....ME!
Will smile for treats.

Super Sunday Sight....

ME!

Did I scare you? All up close and personal I am.
Tried to be up close to Tommy (like I usually am). She shoo'd me away. Said something called taxes made her mad.
I don't know what that means.
Oh well, Tommy had ice cream (I licked the bottom of bowl) after these taxes.
So it can't be all bad.
Back to ME. I love being all up close and personal like this.

Shows off my handsome-ness.

Maybe

Cranky OLD sour puss Perry and my Uncle MaxMaxx-who says he's just big boned--not fat.
Sure.
They usually hiss and paw punch each other.
Never really fight, like Mommy did when she ran after Perry.
He just looked at us itty bitty kittens and Mommy took out after him.
HIS screams were heard loud and clear.
Perry never hurt us. Just like he doesn't really fight with Uncle Maxx.
I think Cranky OLD sour puss Perry really does like us.
Maybe.

My Favorite Thing

This little stuffed mouse (Tommy says she got it from somebody named Wal Mart) is my favorite thing to play with. It's on a piece of string where it can dangle and I can jump high to get it. Tommy says I'm crazy when I do that. I played so much with it, I pulled the string from the little stuffed mouse. So what to do? The toy wasn't as much fun to play fetch with Tommy or just play and drag it around the house without the string. I wonder what a real mouse tastes like? Tommy says she hopes we don't find out. That would mean mouses would be in the house and she'd scream. For my toy, Tommy wrapped the string around the little stuff mouse's neck. Tight. She swears this is the closet I'll get to a real one. Here's a picture of ME with my Uncle MaxMaxx. He's fat. In the middle is my little stuffed mouse with the string around his neck.

Meow!

Hello again fellow felines (especially Tuxedo Tabbies!) and our humans. Hope all of you are purr-fect!

I am.

Tommy just got home a little bit ago. Good to see her after being gone all day. ME and Mommy always meet here at the door. Then we go to our favorite spot on the carpet and scatch it. Tommy always says it's another confirmation she needs to put a different kind of floor in. Tommy still pet us all, stayed a few minutes and then left again. This was after she checked this cabinet in her kitchen. To see how much food we had, I'm sure.

Smart girl.

Then there was this election. Didn't know really what it was for. Didn't really know why Tommy was so excited about a family moving into some big old White House. Been reading online (when Tommy is gone) that the little girls moving there want a puppy. WHY? We cats could slip in and partake in all those fancy shmancy gatherings they have there (I've read up on that too!) More better than some dog. Cats purr. Dogs don't. To each her own.

And last, I said I would talk about my family. So here is a picture of ME and my Mommy. I was still a bitty baby when my bestest girl kissed me. Tommy entered this picture in some contest at her job. Got a lot of votes, she said, but didn't win. Tommy said that was fine, because she had the real thing at home. And that was prize enough.

Smart girl.
